Stud Rams

Service Sires for 2025 lambs

'RIGHT ON'   WHS2234

RIGHT ON WHS2234   This fall ram was a popular choice at the Midwest Stud Ram Sale.
He exemplifies the direction of the suffolk breed: Bone, Muscle, Correct, and Style all in one package.

We think he is the ram to provide the forward movement for the industry and compliments our ewe base.

'The Force'  Yearling Ram Fisher 2320

Our 2023 March ram lamb placed 3rd in a very strong yearling Iowa State Fair National Suffolk Show.

He continues to develop and has not yet reached his full potential. He undeniably was the heaviest muscled ram in the class. We weighed him after the show and he clocked in at 443.5 lbs! An impressive number for a young yearling ram.

Here he is as a ram lamb and just look how he grew out!

We used him lightly as a ram lamb and are impressed with his offspring. His bone, big foot, length of body, structure, and volume are all qualities expressed in these young lambs. We are so pleased with his offspring that he is out working hard in our ewe flock this fall!

Noteworthy Influences

In addition to these sires, our brood ewes carry the genetics of RDN; Nichols sheep continue to find a presence in the Suffolk breed. Everyone remembers the style and quality that ALLISON KEITH brought to the breed in the late 70's and early 80's. We used her ram, CLASSIC TOUCH for six years. He is still considered by us as one of the best foundation rams we used. Quite a statement for a ram we used 42 years ago!
